Excellent service at a fair price. We were able to drop the car off on Saturday and was sorted for us by midday Monday. Clear explanation of the problem and what was done to sort it. Couldn't ask for more. Absolutely recommended. Thank you Chris.

Amazing guys here! Took my car in for the cambelt/water pump - they did a great job, really looked after the car and gave it a clean as well - honestly above and beyond what I had expected. I'll be coming back here for all my work and would highly recommend you do the same.

Beyond the excellence. Their efficient and fast service at its superb quality. No drama, no delay. Just drop in and pick up after the service - the simplest yet the best so far. I am based on the shore and I was referred to them for my Mazda Axela. Drove all the way to Gren Inns bit worried as I wasn't their local. But voila, the jobs done, got my WOF and full service sorted in a day and a bit. Very happy!

I have only been to Your Neighbourhood Mechanic twice but I have been really impressed with how honest and helpful Chris is. Some mechanics will find a reason to charge as much as they can or do more than what is required but Chris has only ever done what is actually needed and helped save me money in the process. St Johns is not convenient for me to get to but it's totally worth it for the service.

The best service in AKL I have experienced (tried 5+ other garages). I own a 2005 Volvo, and many places have ripped me off or have sub-par service quality. Chris and his team are very professional, and know what they're doing with fair prices. A good honest mechanic is hard to come by these days, I highly recommend you try Your Neighbourhood Mechanic - you wont be disappointed.
